About Krakin Networks

Krakin Networks is an evening business networking company in East Kent, with groups meeting in Canterbury and Whitstable. The aim is simple: help local businesses grow while building a stronger community around them.

What makes Krakin different is that memberships also raise money for local charities and sports clubs. Meetings take place at community venues such as Whitstable Rugby Club, the Kent Neuro Therapy Centre near Canterbury and Polo Farm Sports Club, and a running total of money raised is shared with members.

Meetings run from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, ideal if you can't easily get away during the working day. Every evening includes food and drinks, quick business introductions, a themed group discussion and plenty of time to network. You can pay as you go on the door or join as a monthly member.

What to expect at their events

Each evening follows the same friendly format: welcome drinks and food from 6:30pm, business introductions at 7pm, a "Krakin Legs" group discussion at 7:30pm on a business topic such as marketing, accounts, staff or LinkedIn, then general networking until 8:30pm. December meetings have included a Christmas quiz.

Who their events are for

Small business owners, sole traders and local professionals in and around Canterbury, Whitstable and Herne Bay who want relaxed, productive evening networking. Members can benefit from category control, so they are not competing with a direct rival in the same group.
