Seaside CEO Business Events in Kent

About Seaside CEO

Seaside CEO celebrates and supports small businesses in Ramsgate and across Thanet. Monthly events bring founders together to hear from entrepreneurs and experts, pick up practical advice and meet trusted local advisers.

Events are run and hosted by Ramsgate resident Emma Jones CBE, a small business expert who has started, grown and sold businesses herself, and who is currently the UK government's Small Business Commissioner.

Most events take place on a Thursday from 5pm to 7pm at the Royal Temple Yacht Club in Ramsgate. Each one has a theme, from raising and managing money and running a profitable retail or hospitality business to getting to grips with AI or hearing a founder share how they grew their brand. December brings a festive celebration of Thanet's businesses.

Seaside CEO also publishes the Seaside CEO Report, celebrating 26 committed business owners from Ramsgate and the part small businesses play in coastal communities.

What to expect at their events

A themed early-evening session with a guest speaker or panel of local experts, practical tips you can use in your own business, and time to connect with other founders and local advisers.

Who their events are for

Founders and owners of small businesses in Ramsgate and Thanet, whether you are just starting out or growing an established business, especially in retail, hospitality and other local, independent trades.
