FSB Connect in Canterbury - OctWednesday 7th October 2026

Looking to grow your business network in a relaxed and welcoming environment? Join us at The Granville in Canterbury for an engaging morning of in-person networking, bringing together small business owners, freelancers and entrepreneurs to connect, share ideas and build valuable new relationships.

Just ten minutes from Canterbury city centre, this event is a great opportunity to meet businesses from across the local area, make new connections and discover potential collaborations.

Whether you’re just starting out or running an established business, you’ll find a friendly, supportive atmosphere where you can have meaningful conversations with like-minded professionals and expand your network.

We’re delighted to welcome Lydia McKeown, Managing Director and Founder of Kent-based strategic marketing agency We Do Marketing Ltd, for a practical 15-minute talk on a question many growing businesses should be asking:

Is Your Marketing Keeping Pace with Your Business?

As a business grows, its marketing does not always evolve at the same pace. Your website, messaging and public presence may no longer reflect the scale, expertise or ambitions of your business, making it harder for prospective customers to understand, trust and choose you.

A Chartered Marketer with more than a decade of experience, Lydia will explore how businesses can assess whether their marketing is supporting their next stage of growth.

She’ll also share findings from the Kent Growth Insights Report 2026, an independent We Do Marketing research project examining the publicly visible marketing of 50 high-growth Kent businesses. The session will highlight patterns across websites, social media, brand consistency, customer evidence and emerging AI visibility.

You’ll have the opportunity to take away some practical ideas to consider when reviewing your own marketing.

You can enjoy a selection of biscuits and pastries, and the bar will be open for you to purchase tea and coffee.
